Scott is an experienced lawyer specializing in Criminal Law, Family Law, Federal Indian Law and General Civil Litigation. He was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 2008, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan in 2008, the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribal Court in 2011 and the Gun Lake Tribal Court in 2014.
Scott attended Thomas M. Cooley Law School, graduating as Juris Doctor in 2007. He also graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2002 and Grand Rapids Community College in 1994. Prior to becoming admitted to the State Bar of Michigan, Scott worked in law enforcement for 7 years in West Michigan.
