Daniel Nold is a trial lawyer who focuses on criminal defense throughout northern Illinois. He has helped his clients through dozens of jury trials, as well as hundreds of bench trials and judicial hearings. Because he is devoted to providing his clients the best defense possible and to protecting their rights from being infringed upon, his clients positive feedback won him the Avvo Client’s Choice Award in 2020. While he takes on all forms of traffic and criminal law, he’s particularly proud of the work he does defending victims of domestic violence in order of protection hearings, who are often under-protected by the legal establishment.
Daniel got his Bachelor of Arts degree at Marquette University in 2009, and graduated from the St. Louis University School of Law in 2012. He was admitted to the Illinois bar in 2012 and moved to McHenry County in 2015, and he is now proud to call Crystal Lake his hometown. Since moving to McHenry County, he’s worked at both Donahue & Walsh (2015-2021) and Susan E. Loggins & Associates (2019-2020) before starting The Nold Law Firm in 2021.
He’s glad to be a member of many professional and industry organizations, including the McHenry County Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, the Illinois Truck Enforcement Association, and is a former member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association (2019-2020).
