After several years as a prosecutor and General Counsel for the Broward County Police Benevolence Association (PBA), Michael White started his own practice focused on protecting individuals accused of crime.
While serving in the State Attorney’s Office, he was responsible for investigating and prosecuting hundreds of cases across numerous divisions in County and Circuit Court, including jury trials, motions to suppress, pretrial motions and non-jury trials. In 2018, Michael was nominated by MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) for Prosecutor of the Year for the state of Florida.
At the PBA, Michael represented police officers accused of wrongdoing either criminally or administratively.
He also negotiated collective bargaining agreements for numerous police agencies with cities throughout Broward County, Florida.
In addition to his experience as a prosecutor, Michael worked in the financial sector, serving as an analyst/associate for Davis Selected Advisors, Deutsche Bank and Nomura Securities. This financial background serves him well when defending clients accused of financial crimes.
Michael graduated Cum Laude with a B.A. in History from Tulane University in 1999 and earned his J.D. with Honors from the George Washington University School of Law in 2003.
